From dusk till dawn at Zeller Horn from Till Credner on Vimeo.
The wide angle fisheye view shows the northern night sky seen from the edge of the Swabian Alb plateau in southern Germany. Cities below are Bisingen and Hechingen and in the foreground lies Hohenzollern Castle.
Can you find Polaris, the North-Star? Just start the movie! Polaris is the only brighter star that is not moving! Polaris remains (almost) on its position during the apparent rotation of the sky since earth’s axis points to Polaris. All other stars rotate around Polaris! Therefore the name of Polaris which remains always on the same place in the north! (and it is a common misunderstanding that Polaris should be very bright!!!)
